Community Agreements

This space centers intentional community. Participants must agree to follow the agreements created to ensure a safe and equitable environment for all:

• Confidentiality - Any personal information shared in classes or other group settings must remain confidential.

• Strictly no unsolicited advice.

• Consider sharing your pronouns - If you’re comfortable, we invite you to share your pronouns on Zoom.

• Practise Land Acknowledgement - We encourage you to share the Indigenous land you are currently on. For Turtle Island (USA/Canada) visit: native-land.ca

• Listen to understand - Practice active listening, being open to other people’s experiences and

  perspectives.

• Speak from personal experience - We all have different lived experiences and intersections of identities. Speak from your personal experience, and don’t assume other people have the same experience you do.

• Consider how you take up space - Reflect on your social location and proximity to power and privilege. Please be mindful of time limits.

Classes

Classes are subject to cancellation in the event that the teacher is unwell or has an appointment that can’t be rescheduled. Teachers are entitled to taking time off at any point, and will endeavour to provide as much notice to the students as possible.
