Self Care Sunday

An adaptive class that is informed by requests from the participants who attend live on Zoom. This class is designed to give you a relaxing end to your week and support you where you’re at with what you need.  Includes various combinations of guided meditation, calming pranayama, self-massage, gentle movement & stretching, and intentional rest. Prepare for the week ahead feeling like your most authentic and grounded self. Mellow and mindful. Suitable for folks with low/limited energy, chronic illness, and disability.

Pranayama & Meditation

30 min

An exploration of meditation and pranayama (breathwork) to find grounding and balance to carry us forward for the rest of the day. Drawing on various accessible techniques and rooted in Vedic philosophy and beyond, this class will help you develop a consistent and supportive practice.

Body Doubling

30 min

A gentle, easeful space to hang out together as we do our own thing : art and craft, study/work, or any other activities / task. No pressure, no urgency, no perfectionism - simply supporting and encouraging one another. Stay as long as you wish.

Stretch & Restore

60 min

Part Yin, part Restorative. Yin yoga is a practice of stillness, where stretch-based postures are held for roughly 2-5 minutes each. Katie’s approach to Yin is gentle and always has lots of room for exploration, adaptation, and doing things differently. In this class you’ll be encouraged to listen deeply to your body and make choices that best support you in each moment, even if that means not always sitting still. We’ll also include restorative yoga postures, aimed at a deeper sense of ease, relaxation and inner spaciousness.

This class is suitable for folks with low/limited energy, chronic illness, and disability, but note that this is a floor-based practice where we sit and lay down (you could also join from bed).

Cosy Yoga

Gentle cosy practices: we’ll breathe, move, rest together - feeling the support of the collective, the Earth and reconnecting to our inner Self. It’s an invitation to slow down and practise care for yourself and others. We’ll draw on a variety of practices from the yoga tradition and beyond, always with gentleness and ease in mind. This class is designed to be completely adaptive and is suitable for both new and experienced practitioners. Bring your coffee/tea, pets, and/or comfort items.

Cosy Social

Last Saturday of each month. Cosy gathering to connect as a community with a short grounding practice, and a lot of time to chat and simply hang out together. We welcome supportive, kind, and mindful conversation that follows our community guidelines. Read our Community Agreements here.
